Manual

  • 1.
Using sandpaper around P320, remove the damage from the damaged area.
Try to keep the sander flat and maintain smoothness while sanding. Next, use sandpaper around P400 to sand the entire front section, stripping the old coating.
Sand the whole part with increasing grit from P600→P800→P1000→P1200→P1500→P2000 to erase sanding scratches.
  • 2.
Polish the entire front part with a polisher and compound. Polish while increasing the fineness from heavy cut→medium cut, removing sanding marks and making the surface transparent.
When removing scratches with a polisher, please be careful and apply water to the surface to prevent overheating. Heat may cause the material to deform or crack.
  • 3.
Make mixture of main agent : hardener = 2:1 (ratio by weight) and apply evenly to the lens 2-3 times.
  • 4.
After forcibly drying the coating, remove any lumps with sandpaper or other tools.
  • 5.
To completely remove sandpaper marks, polish in stages with a compound until the surface has a clear finish.
  • 6.
This process takes approximately the same time as a normal coating application, but has it been verified to remain effective for 1-3 years.
