Product Description

During the winter, there are endless cases of kerosene spills in car interiors or trunk compartments. Normal interior detailing or deodorizing cannot erase the particular odor of kerosene, but BB-39 can neutralize the kerosene itself before emulsifying it for removal.

Sequence

01 Specify the area soaked with kerosene.

The carpet has been soaked with kerosene.

02 Spray the soaked area thoroughly with the fluid.

The sprayed neutralizer mixes with the kerosene.

03 After the fluid permeates the area, spray it with water. (The more water the better.)

As the water is sprayed, the neutralizer and kerosene emulsify and mix with the water.

04 The water is an emulsion, so it must be carefully vacuumed up.

The emulsified substance can be vacuumed up or washed off with water.

05 Finally, a normal interior detailing is conducted and the cleaning is complete.

After cleaning, the kerosene is removed, and detergents are used to perform a normal interior detailing. The area is dried and finished.

Rinsing with Water

Since kerosene does not mix with water, the water is repelled and the kerosene cannot be rinsed away.

Mechanism of Kerosene Neutralizer

When kerosene is spilled inside a vehicle, the biggest problem is kerosene’s particular odor. Normal deodorizers struggle to remove the unpleasant smell. Also, because kerosene does not mix with water, even after cleaning with detergents it is difficult to rinse off. BB-39 does not directly eliminate kerosene’s odor, but it makes the kerosene able to be emulsified. The kerosene then reacts with water to form an emulsion and the substance itself can then be removed. The cleaner works in 2 phases: First, apply the cleaner to the kerosene followed by water to form an emulsion. Next, vacuum up the emulsion and clean and rinse the area to remove it. Kerosene can be removed simply by spraying it with BB-39. Kerosene which has soaked deep into thick areas such as seats may not be removable by vacuuming or washing. The illustrations show how to use BB-39 and explain how it works.
