Performance of CS-1
Focused on the Essential Aspect of Coating: Antifouling Property
CS-1 is developed to improve the antifouling property of hydrophilic coating and reduce the frequency of maintenance in the Zen-Xero series. Although the quality of being visually water-repellent is preferable, focus has been placed on the minimizing dirt attachment and maximizing ease of maintenance for CS-1. CS-1 forms a hydrophilic coating with a water contact angle that is less than 30 degrees. It also has a self-cleaning function, and users can easily recognize its excellence when using it.
Outstanding Ease of Application Leads to an Outstanding Finish
CS-1 achieves superior ease of application over that of usual glass coating cannot do. As with the general organic-compound-type polymer coating, it is applied over the entire auto body. It is then wiped off after a certain period. It is flexible for use in various application environments, and the risk of surface irregularity can be minimized. In addition, detailer skill is not essential. Finally, when wet wiping is performed during application, the reaction of hydrolysis is strengthened and the coating is stabilized at the early stage. Thus, wiping becomes easier and the ease of application is improved.
Superior Antifouling Property of Hydrophilic Coating
Water and hydrophilic coating come together as if they are the same substance.
CS-1 forms an inorganic hydrophilic coat. Because the water is allowed to flow as on a thin layer, the self-cleaning function is activated as the dirt attached to the painted surfaces is washed away. Compared with the water-repellent coating, hydrophilic coating has fewer water stains and dirt attached to it. The characteristics of the hydrophilic coating of CS-1 are such that regular car washing is sufficient to maintain a beautiful appearance for a long time. Hydrophilic coating is highly recommended for owners of light-colored cars who would like to conduct less maintenance. In addition, hydrophilic coating minimizes the stains caused by droplets. Therefore, it is also suitable for the black auto bodies.
Even if dirt remains when the surface is dry,
by simply pouring water over it
water enters in between the dirt and the coating, and the dirt would be removed from the painted surface.
Additional Usage
You can apply CS-1 over the auto bodies and even to the sides of aluminum wheels, moldings, and the resin parts of unpainted bumpers. CS-1 provides a high antifouling property over applied areas and restores the deep black gloss over unpainted (e.g., deteriorated) moldings.
