Unlike the cerium oxide used previously in Glassban, this paste uses soft silica with optimal porosity. Although the 10-15μ particles are coarser than cerium oxide, their rounded porosity causes them to pulverize each other during the polishing process. They effectively remove stuck-on silica scale and provide both safety and a nice finish for initial polishing.
