TRESMILE (polysilazane) Organic Type

Organic Type(Organic Type)

Excellent water repellency with just one coating
Because the organic type is composed of CH3 methyl groups bonded to the Si–N backbone, it has the water repellency that characterizes methyl groups. As such, it is classified as organic, but exhibits a beautiful water repellent effect on its own, requiring no topcoat.

A smooth texture not possible with conventional glass coatings
Conventional glass coatings, such as inorganic polysilazane coatings, generally have a texture that lacks slipperiness. In contrast, the methyl groups of the organic type give the coating a smooth texture similar to wax or organic compound coatings, providing an appearance, feel and level of performance that will satisfy end users.

Forms a coating with overwhelming coating thickness
The organic type can be manufactured to contain 100% resins, with no solvents. For that reason, using special solvents, it can be diluted and used at higher concentrations than was not possible with previous products. As a result, compared to the inorganic type, a vastly thicker coating can be achieved, providing a greater sense of presence. The disadvantage is that it has lower hardness than an inorganic coating. However, as the hardness varies depending on the concentration of the product and the type of diluent solvent used, sufficient hardness as a coating can be achieved by using the optimal combination for your goals.

A cleaner formula free of xylene
While performance is the most important aspect of a coating, in our current times, it has also become essential to consider the environmental impact of the ingredients. These organic type coatings all use environmentally friendly formulas free of xylene.
