Product Description

This product has been greatly upgraded from the previous version and can now handle from 1200 to over 2000 grit polishing in one bottle. It represents a new standard for diminishing one-step compounds.

Ultra wide range

The most improved feature is the polishing range. This one compound can now handle polishing from 1200 to over 2000 grit, ranging from initial polishing of painted surfaces in poor condition to final finishing of dark colored vehicles. In addition, it cleans off more easily and has higher efficiency with a smaller amount than the previous version.

Ultra wide range graph

One bottle covers the entire polishing process

SUPER PM NANO was originally developed with the goal of setting a new standard for diminishing all-in-one compounds. In that it succeeded, surpassing the performance of other companies' products and achieving widespread popularity.
Even the original version was able to deliver unprecedented polishing power and a uniformly precise finish using specialized high-grade alumina. The new version, however, has been reformulated to use high-grade alumina nanoparticles with greater uniformity. This new formula achieves a strength of bond between the alumina particles that was not previously possible, providing more cutting strength for initial polishing.
If you are unsatisfied with other abrasives and looking for a higher quality product, try SUPER PM NANO. We are confident that you will be satisfied with its performance.

A wide range covering heavy cutting to finishing

Polishing mechanism

Conventional heavy cut compounds use coarse abrasive particles that are capable of removing scratches, but leave swirling marks on the surface like in Image 1. These marks require additional polishing to remove. In contrast, PM NANO uses diminishing abrasive particles that break down in the polishing process to become finer, as seen in Image 2. By the end, the particles are small enough to be suitable for finishing. This effect allows the particles that have broken down to remove the swirling marks made during the polishing process. The basic process shown in Image 3 repeats until it becomes possible to achieve a mirror finish with the same quality as a final finishing compound.

Effective on inorganic, high hardness paints

In addition to its wide polishing range, SUPER PM NANO has another major feature. PM NANO is capable of polishing the inorganic, high hardness paints that have recently been introduced for luxury vehicles from Europe and the United States. There are various types of diminishing abrasive on the market. Originally, there was a silica-based type, but the particles were not uniform and lacked sufficient hardness, making polishing with it difficult.
Alumina-based abrasives, which are now mainstream, also vary in polishing ability depending on the quality of the alumina. PM NANO uses only α-alumina with the same hardness as sapphire for its main material, making it highly effective even on the hardest paints.

High flexibility

No matter how well an abrasive performs, if its working method is limited, it will not be impracticable for many detailers. PM NANO is extremely flexible, with support for a broad range of working styles. In addition to wool buffing pads, PM NANO can be used with various types of urethane buffing pads. It is especially effective in combination with a memory foam urethane pad. The moderate resilience of memory foam urethane is ideal for gradually stimulating the breakdown of abrasive particles, making it possible to do everything from scratch removal to final finishing in one step.
