Brush material
Pig hair (animal fibers)
Among animal hairs, it has strong springiness and excellent durability. It is more lustrous than horse hair, and its bristle tips are split and pointy, making it quite soft for hair quality. It has many uses. It has acid-resistant properties, but it is easily harmed by alkaline solutions. Also, because pig hair is short, brushes made with it only have bristle lengths up to 40mm. Pig hair is not categorized by the part of the animal, so all hairs are used the same way. Heat resistance temperature 140°C.
