■ When sharpening a card squeegee

To sharpen a thin card squeegee, simply align the squeegee with the center groove and pull it towards you.
This will shave the edge down, leaving it thin and smooth.

■ When sharpening a thicker item

Thick items such as rubber can be sharpened from outside the groove.

■ When sharpening a Inoue Jirako Squeegee

The Inoue Jirako Squeegee can be easily maintained in the same way.

With usage, the edge of the blade will become jagged as seen in the photograph on the left, which may cause damage to the film during installation. Using the sharpener allows you to restore the blade's original sharpness.
